In the interests of efficiency and the environment, we have arranged weekly (sometimes daily) visits to various areas within our catchment on specific 'area days'. Our area days are designed to keep the cost lower for our clients by improving the efficiency of our vets days by grouping calls in one area together
We have two teams of experienced vets who cover the East and West of our practice, so you can see the same vet regularly and we can provide continuity of care to your horse.
If you are able to be flexible on the time we visit, our anytime visit fee is £45 (incl VAT). We send a text message the evening before your visit to confirm an approximate arrival time once the vet has planned their route for the day. Please call by midday the day before to book an Area Day appointment.
If you would prefer a requested time visit on an area day, the fee is £51 (incl VAT).
Our dental vet Antonio Hinojosa spends a day in each of our Area Day zones on rotation over the course of a 2 week period, splitting his time covering our whole ambulatory catchment area with time in the hospital for more advanced dental surgery. Thus enabling clients to request more complex dentistry treatment (where appropriate), with the advantage of a reduced Area Day visit cost.
