The reception and administration teams are always available to help during office hours (08:30AM to 17:30AM) on 01622 813700.
If you have an emergency out of office hours, please call our usual number 01622 813700 where you will be connected to our dedicated out of hours service who will contact the duty vet for you. We have a specific Ambulatory out of hours veterinary team staffed by Equicall, a separate branch of CVS (UK) Ltd, using dedicated and experienced emergency equine vets (more information on our out of hours service can be found HERE).
Please stay by the phone and one of the out of hours vets will contact you. Try to keep the line clear until we contact you. If the vet has not called you within 10 minutes (as they may be dealing with another emergency), please call 01622 813700 again and the out of hours service will contact the vet again.
On confirming an out of hours visit, you will be asked for a £350 pre-payment. Should your visit not come to this amount, you will be refunded the following working day. For more information see our OUT OF HOURS section.
As we are a specialist referral hospital, there are always staff on site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you have been referred into the hospital, please ensure we have an estimated time of your arrival as we may be dealing with other emergency cases. The hospital automatic electric security gates are closed between 7pm and 6am, so you will need to be buzzed in by the on-call hospital team.
