Congratulations are due to orthopaedic vet Laura Fitzharris who has been granted Specialist status from the European College of Veterinary Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation. This means she is now recognised as a European, American and MRCVS Specialist in Veterinary Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation!
Laura has a strong interest in the management of equine athletes and the investigation of poor performance. Her experience allows her to look at the horse as a whole; investigating respiratory, cardiac, gastric and orthopaedic conditions.
In addition, she has a keen interest in the rehabilitation of injuries and the use of complementary therapies such as acupuncture and electrotherapy.
