EHV Update on testing

Equine Herpes Virus Update 26.04.21:

There have subsequently been no further clinical cases of Equine Herpes Virus infections at Arran Bank Stables since the neurological case diagnosed on 31st March. Of the horses on the yard that have had blood tests taken to measure antibody levels, none have shown evidence of recent infection. However, since not every horse on the yard has been tested, the yard will remain on lockdown and the horses closely monitored until Thursday 29th April. All being well, (assuming no further infections happen between now and then), restrictions should be able to be lifted on Thursday.

We would like to thank Newnham Court vets, who have been taking the samples from the horses on the yard, and the owners of Arran Bank Stables for their assistance with managing this situation.
