We are currently inviting applications for two hospital intern positions. One to start at the beginning of 2022 and the other to start in the Summer of 2022.
This is an eighteen-month Internship program suitable for new and recently qualified graduates looking to pursue a career within the equine field.
Interns work in all the hospital areas and have patient care responsibility under the supervision of large team of specialist senior clinicians. Interns also attend some ambulatory calls in the later stages of the internship. There is also the opportunity to undertake a small clinical research project and/or write up a case report for publication (voluntary).
There is a 1:3 out of hour’s rota and accommodation is provided in purpose built flats on site.
Our internships provide a suitable foundation for most equine post-graduate specialist qualifications and also provide excellent training for general or specialist equine practice.
