Please can we remind everybody that we are not allowed to accept medicines back once they have been dispensed. So, you should only request what you really need as there is NO sale and return option; although we can dispose of unwanted medications, used syringes and needles. This is a legal requirement.
At the same time can we politely request that medicines are only used for the horse or pony for which they are prescribed. If given to the wrong patient, treatments may do more harm than good. This is particularly important for courses of antibiotics. If your horse is prescribed medication, you should always finish everything supplied and never give a part course to another horse or pony.
