It is now the start of a new breeding season! We are welcoming foals already so will be starting to prepare mares to be bred again.
At BELL EQUINE, we can offer extensive reproductive services, from pregnancy scans to new-born foal examinations, through to preparing mares for natural service, in addition to our artificial insemination (AI) packages for fresh, chilled and frozen semen. We are also able to offer embryo flushes and transfers to enable you to continue competing your mare.
Prior to breeding, we recommend our ‘Pre-Breeding Examination‘. This will enable us to take the necessary samples for testing, such as CEM and EVA, in addition to a full reproductive examination.
We have a fantastic team of stud vets, consisting of Emma, Elise and Helen who have many years of experience between them and are supported by our hospital facilities and nursing team, where we can accommodate mares and foals, typically with grass livery (stabling also available), to enable the AI packages to be as successful as possible. Breeding is also available from home, depending on your mare and semen type.
