We are delighted to report that ambulatory vet, Imogen Burrows has become the British Equine Veterinary Association (BEVA) President for 2025-26.
Imogen joined our ambulatory team a year ago this month (October). She follows in the footsteps of other Bell Equine vets, Tim Mair and Richard Jones, who have also held the position of BEVA presidents in the past. We are very proud that Imogen is the third BEVA president from BELL EQUINE.
As many of you know, Imogen is a passionate welfare-focused vet, and is committed to raising this topic and how veterinary care can be enriched by a welfare-led approach.
Imogen had given us her thoughts on her new role and says: 'I am excited to take on the BEVA presidency, and it is hugely humbling to follow in the footsteps of some of the most eminent members of our profession. I hope I can draw on my experience as a first opinion practitioner with a passion for welfare-led veterinary care to navigate our way through the professional challenges'.
Congratulations to Imogen on this prestigious appointment!
