We are excited to announce the expansion in the East Kent area. We have had many requests from clients over the years to cover East Kent and we are so pleased we can now offer this.
Pippa, who has over a decade of experience in clinical practice, is our lead vet for the area, alongside our brilliant ambulatory team. We offer a full comprehensive ambulatory service with all the modern equipment available (x-ray and ultrasound, endoscopy, gastroscopy) at competitive prices.
Canterbury and East Kent area days
We offer discounted ‘area’ visits on a Monday, Tuesday and Friday. Midweek appointments are also available at owners’ request.
We have extended the Canterbury area to all clients North of the M20 in East Kent.
Our hospital
The hospital at Bell Equine Clinic is based in Mereworth, mid Kent and is therefore conveniently located via the M2 and M20 for horses wanting to travel to the clinic and for referrals for advanced imaging and surgery. The highly regarded hospital boasts 11 specialists in orthopaedics, sports medicine, surgery and dentistry, a large nursing team and a full operating facility. The hospital is the only practice in the South East to offer MRI, CT and scintigraphy. It is also a BEVA approved clinic for AI (artificial insemination) and we have 3 stud vets working the breeding season both within clinic and on the road.
Our hospital team work closely with the ambulatory team to provide the all-inclusive care that we know is so important. We feel that the experience of the team and the facilities is unbeatable. Your horse or pony will not only benefit from our compassionate and experienced ambulatory vets but also from the team of specialists based at the hospital. We are proud to be able to offer this unique service to our clients.
Our out of hours emergency service is provided by Equicall, who have strong connections to Bell Equine. We hold regular meetings together and many of the emergency vets have worked at Bell Equine.
Medication Collections
Most medications can be posted from the clinic (with a small postage fee). Alternatively, we have a collection point for pre ordered and prepaid medication at Barton Veterinary hospital in Canterbury for our EK clients.
