Welcome to Elise Moritz

Welcome-EliseWe’d like to extend an incredibly warm welcome to vet Elise Moritz, who has joined us this month.

Elise graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2017 and started her career at a busy equine hospital in Auckland, New Zealand. Upon completing her internship, Elise worked as an ambulatory clinician in private practice in Lincolnshire for 3 years, enjoying a high lameness and reproduction caseload.

She then headed back to the southern hemisphere for a stud season in Australia, where she furthered her experience in both thoroughbred and sport horse breeding, foal medicine and lameness.

Elise joins us for the season as part of our stud team and also as an active member of our ambulatory team.

Elise achieved her qualifications as an official FEI treating vet in 2021 and is currently studying towards her Advanced Practitioner Certificate in Equine Internal Medicine with the University of Liverpool.

Outside of work, she loves all things outdoorsy and when she’s not scanning mares on the weekends she can be found riding, climbing or enjoying watching the rugby!
