A reminder for Kindness

Our vets, nurses and support teams care deeply about our patients - it’s why they chose this profession. We always do their very best for them, no matter the hour, the weather, or the challenge.

Nonetheless, mental health struggles are very real in the veterinary world, where long hours, tough cases, and the weight of concern and empathy take their toll. The veterinary industry sadly has one of the highest suicide rates amongst civilian occupations.

The wellbeing & mental health of our teams have at times been impacted negatively by a small number of people who can be incredibly unkind, abusive and unreasonably demanding towards them, either directly or via their keyboards and social media.

We do understand how stressful it can be when your horse is unwell and when you are faced with worry, stress and unexpected bills, but please do not aim your frustrations at any of our team – we genuinely want to help you and your horse.

To the vast majority of our wonderful clients - thank you. Your kindness, patience, and support mean the world to us. You make our challenging days easier, and we truly appreciate you.

Please remember, a little kindness goes a long way.
